It was wonderful to see (almost) everyone back at school today. Year 4 is full of lots of interesting topics but I'm not going to spoil all the surprises just yet.
This week we are concentrating on reacquainting ourselves with school rules and procedures, while also looking into all the different ways people learn (learning styles). We are not all the same (thankfully) and everyone learns in different ways. This week, the children will get the chance to explore the ways in which they most enjoy learning. This will be of great benefit to them (as well as their teachers) thoughout the year.
Next week, we'll be taking a trip halfway around the world to Australia for International Week so get busy reseaching interesting facts about the land of Oz. As Mr. Norris (he is from Australia) might say, "Struth mate!".
